Washington State Caseworkers Spend 70% of Time on Case-Related Tasks, but Only Half is Direct Contact
OPEN MINDS On-Line News The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Childrens Administration (CA) Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) social workers spent about 70% of time on tasks related to a specific family or child, but nearly half (46%) of their case-related time did not involve direct contact with the families and children.
