Firetree Enters Mediation With Pennsylvania to Continue Lease of Conewago Wernersville Buildings

OPEN MINDS On-Line News On February 28, 2008, Firetree, Ltd., announced that its lease at the Pennsylvania state psychiatric hospital facility, Conewago Wernersville, has been extended until the end of April 2008 to enable it to engage in mediation with the Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS) which seeks to cancel its lease at the facility. Firetree provides a 102-bed residential treatment facility, with 14 detox beds and 88 inpatient treatment beds, and halfway house facilities for 380 residents.
