Arkansas Provider Organizations Submit Proposals to State to Reduce Medicaid Spending; Selection Process Underway
OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News On March 2, 2010, the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Medical Services (DMS) started reviewing provider organizations proposals to help DMS reduce Medicaid spending by $400 million for fiscal year 2011. The strategies include an estimate of the impact on the states Medicaid costs in fiscal years 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.
