Aetna Goes Mobile to Provide Easy Access to Personalized Health Information Services
OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News Beginning in January 2010, Aetna started releasing mobile solutions that enable Aetna members to access to a variety of features from their web-enabled smartphones. The features include DocFind, an on-line directory of health care professionals; the Aetna Personal Health Record; Price-a-Drug; claims search; and electronic identification cards. The mobile solutions work with multiple platforms—mobile web, smartphone “apps,” and text messaging.
