UnitedHealth Group Launches Diabetes Prevention & Control Alliance With Partners Walgreens & YMCA of the USA

OPEN MINDS Weekly Wire Strategic Health Care News On April 14, 2010, UnitedHealth Group announced the launch of a Diabetes Prevention and Control Alliance in partnership with YMCA of the USA and Walgreens. The Alliance will seek to help prevent and control diabetes through two programs: the Diabetes Prevention Program and the Diabetes Control Program. UnitedHealth Group will cover prevention and control services provided by the YMCA of the USA and Walgreens.
