ValueOptions Awarded Behavioral Health Portions of Tenncare Contract
OPEN MINDS On-Line News Strategic Health Care News On April 24, 2008, ValueOptions announced that the company had been awarded two subcontracts with the Volunteer State Health Plan to provide behavioral health services for the East and West regions of Tennessee under two TennCare contracts awarded to Volunteer State Health Plan (VSHP), a subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. TennCare is TennesseeÂ’s Medicaid program that provides health coverage to eligible adults, children, and families.
