2% of Commercial Health Plans Provide Clinical Services Over the Internet
OPEN MINDS On-Line News Strategic Health Care News Only 2% of commercial health plans provide clinical services such as counseling via the Internet. A majority of plans (68%) offered behavioral health self-assessment tools and approximately one half provided on-line referral services. For-profit plans were more likely to offer on-line patient self-assessment, referral, and personal response to questions than other plans.
