73% of Physicians Say Virtual Pharmaceutical Promotions Are Equal or Better Than Face-to-Face
OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News An annual survey of physician attitudes toward pharmaceutical promotion methods found that most physicians, 73%, regarded electronic promotion (ePromotion) by pharmaceutical companies as equal or superior to traditional face-to-face promotion. About two-thirds (67%) of the physicians surveyed had a positive attitude toward ePromotion. Physician acceptance of ePromotion increased from the 2007 survey, in which 62% viewed ePromotion positively and 68% said the practices were equal or superior to face-to-face promotion.
