Seven States Selected for Demonstration of New Integrated Care Approaches for Dual Eligibles
OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News On May 20, 2009, the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) announced the launch of the 18-month Transforming Care for Dual Eligibles initiative and the seven states that will participate: Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Vermont. The states will develop integrated health care approaches to improve care and control costs for people who are dually eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid.
