Maryland DHMH Selects ValueOptions as Statewide Mental Health ASO

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Mental Health & Chemical Dependency Services On June 4, 2009, ValueOptions, Inc., started a contract with the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) as the statewide Administrative Services Organization (ASO) for mental health services. The transition period started June 4, and will last through August 31, 2009. The active contract period will start September 1, 2009, and run through August 31, 2011, with three one-year renewal periods. The initial contract period is valued at about $20 million.
