Arkansas DHS Launches LTC Partnership Program

OPEN MINDS On-Line News Senior Support Services On July 1, 2008, the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) launched its Arkansas Long-Term Care (LTC) Partnership program. The joint program of Arkansas Medicaid, the Arkansas Insurance Department, and private insurance companies will protect the assets of individuals for as much as the amount of the purchased policy and still allow them to be eligible for Medicaid assistance for long-term-care facilities.
