Hawaii Medical Service Association Launches Real-Time Telehealth Physician Consultation Service Through New Online Healthcare Marketplace
OPEN MINDS On-Line News Strategic Health Care News On June 20, 2008, the Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) announced it will offer state residents 24-hour, real-time, web-based and telephone physician consultations through a new Online Healthcare MarketplaceTM recently launched by American Well in collaboration with Microsoft. HMSA is the first health plan in the nation to offer the service that officially launched on June 18.
