UPMC Adopts MedManage Free Prescription Drug Sample System

OPEN MINDS On-Line News Strategic Health Care News On June 30, 2008, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) announced it will be using the MedManage system for free prescription drug sample orders in UPMC physician offices, hospital-based clinics, and outpatient pharmacies. The UPMC eSample Center is expected to begin operation in early August 2008. UPMCÂ’s eSample Center will use the MedManage system to order a wide range of medication samples for patients free of charge.
