About 70% of Disease Management Reports May Have Errors

(DMPC), says about 70% of disease management requests for proposals, contracts, and reports have material errors. DMPC said there are three common types of errors: Assessments based on actuarial methodology rather than biostatistical methodology Outcomes lacking plausibility Arithmetic or scale errors To combat errors in disease management outcome reports and in requests for proposals, DMPC launched a Critical Outcomes Report Analysis (CORA) certification program in 2007.
