Contracts Awarded for Texas TYC Procurement of Specialized Treatment Services for Youth
OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Social Services On September 1, 2010, the Texas Youth Commission (TYC) approved contracts with 33 provider organizations across the state for specialized outpatient youth treatment services. The services include chemical dependency treatment, mental health treatment, and sexual behavior treatment, and are to be provided in the contractorÂ’s office, a TYC facility, or if necessary, in the youthÂ’s home. The contracts have a performance-based structure; the key outcome measure is that 80% of youth completing the programs have no re-arrest within 120 days of completion.
