Employee Health Insurance Cost to Increase 5.7% for 2009

About 59% of companies surveyed said they will raise deductibles, co-payments, or out-of-pocket spending limits. About 19% of employers plan to offer a high deductible plan with a health savings account. In 2007, 12% of all employers said they were “very likely” to offer a high deductible plan by 2009.
