Mississippi Medicaid to Offer Physicians Free Web-Based EHRs
OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News On August 4, 2009, SharedHealth announced that the State of Mississippi will offer its web-based electronic health record (EHR) and health information exchange to physicians in the state at no charge. The goal is to better serve the stateÂ’s 600,000 Medicaid beneficiaries. The EHR system is expected to start operation by the end of 2009.
