Google Health Partners With MDLiveCare for Telehealth Services

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News On October 7, 2009, Google Health announced a partnership with MDLiveCare as its first telehealth service provider. Google Health users accessing telehealth services through MDLiveCare will be able to share their Google Health personal health record (PHR) with the physician prior to the teleconsultation appointment. Following the appointment, MDLiveCare will automatically add the physicianÂ’s clinical notes to the PHR. MDLiveCare provides HIPAA-compliant medical and behavioral health consultations for $35 through live secure video feed, e-mail, or telephone.
