Quality-of-Care Scores Higher for California Physician Practices Using Health Information Technology
OPEN MINDS On-Line News Strategic Health Care News In 2007, California physicians who consistently used health information technology in their practices had the highest quality of care scores in ratings given by the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA). Scores were over 20% higher than practices that were not using information technology.
