Texas Legislature Moves HCB Case Management From Private Providers To Regional Authorities

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Intellectual & Developmental Disability Services In the state’s new budget, Texas lawmakers changed how services are managed for people with disabilities, shifting case management responsibilities for home- and community-based waiver services (HCBS) from private provider organizations to the state’s 39 local Mental Health/Mental Retardation Authorities (MRAs).
