SeniorBridge is Humana’s Third Service Provider Organization Acquisition in Past 18 Months
On November 29, 2011, Humana, Inc. announced plans to acquire SeniorBridge, its third service provider organization acquisition in 18 months. In July 2010, Humana acquired Hummingbird Coaching Services for an undisclosed sum; and on December 21, 2010, acquired Concentra Inc, for $790 million. Terms and a target closing date have not been disclosed for the SeniorBridge acquisition. SeniorBridge, founded in 2000, provides care management services and in-home care for older adults with complex chronic health conditions, including psychiatric conditions.
