FDA Approves Computer-Based Neuropsychological Test For ADHD

On December 3, 2012, Swedish company Qbtech announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had approved QbTest, the company’s computer-based diagnostic system for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). QbTest provides a validated decision making support system for diagnosis and treatment of ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults. Qbtech believes that QbTest is the first test of its kind to have been cleared by the FDA. QbTest is currently available for lease in the United States. The price varies with patient volume and processes; Qbtech did not provide OPEN MINDS with details about the base lease . . .
