OptumHealth Launches Curo, Free Appointment Scheduling & Advice Program

On December 13, 2011, OptumHealth Care Solutions, Inc. launched Curo, a new free appointment scheduling and health care advice service for residents of Kansas City, Missouri. The service can be accessed online, by telephone, or smartphone. OptumHealth plans to test Curo in Kansas City for an undetermined amount of time before expanding to other markets. When users call Curo or access the www.mycuro.com web site, they are asked which health plan they have and when the appointment is needed.
