CMS Releases Potential Benchmark Insurance Plans for Essential Health Benefits
On January 25, 2012, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released a list of potential insurance plans that could be used as the basis for establishing a minimum package of essential health benefits in each state. The list, compiled by the Department of Labor, names the insurance plans with the three largest enrollments in the small group market in each state.
