Costco Launches MyWay EHR Nationwide With $500 Monthly Package

On December 7, 2011, Costco Wholesale Corporation launched nationwide sales of MyWay, an ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) and practice management system developed by Allscripts. Costco executive members can purchase the system on a lease-to-own arrangement at $499 per month for 60 months; the cost is $599 per month for non-executive members. Costco partnered with Etransmedia and Allscripts to test market the software solution. Etransmedia is an Allscripts distributor.
