Readmissions within 30 days for people with schizophrenia ranged internationally from 4.5% in the Slovak Republic to 28.9% in Norway, with the average rate schizophrenia readmissions at 16.9% across 16 countries belonging to the international Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Readmissions within 30 days for people with bipolar disorder ranged from 4.9% the Slovak Republic to 30.5% in Poland, with an OECD average readmission rate for bipolar disorder was 14.9%.
