Hospital participation in new service system delivery models varies; 15% are participating in patient-centered medical home (PCMH) initiatives; 6% in accountable care organizations (ACO), and 6.5% of hospitals in a bundled payment programs. This is the data reported in the 2013 edition of American Hospital Association (AHA) Hospital Statistics and based on the 2011 AHA survey of its members, which are 87% non-profit hospital systems.
