Feds Piloting Behavioral Health Risk Assessment With Nine Key Domains

The federal National Institutes of Health are funding pilot implementation trials and cognitive testing for a new electronic health record (EHR)-based primary care behavioral health risk assessment (HRA) that tracks changes in nine domains of behavioral and psychosocial data. The data elements are being harmonized into a single HRA and clinical guidelines that have not yet been released. The trials are expected to be completed by the end of 2012.
