South Carolina Medicaid To Move To Uniform Targeted Case Management Rate In July 2012

The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is planning to adopt a uniform market-based targeted case management (TCM) rate for all Medicaid services, including case management for developmental disability services, mental illnesses, and addictions starting July 1, 2012. The new rate, $13 per 15-minute unit, is significantly lower than the current rates, which range from $23.66 to $84.41 per 15-minute unit.
