New Jersey Delays Launch Of Medicaid Integrated Physical & Behavioral Health Services
The New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS) is delaying its plans to implement integrated physical and behavioral health services for adults by January 1, 2013 because the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has not yet approved the state's Medicaid waiver application. Accordingly, the state’s plans to release a request for proposals (RFP) seeking an administrative services organization (ASO) or managed behavioral health organization (MBHO) have also been delayed.
