7% of U.S. Physicians Use Video Chat to Communicate With Patients
Seven percent of physicians in the United States said they used on-line video conferencing as a way to communicate with patients. Psychiatrists and oncologists reported using video conferencing more frequently than professionals in other medical specialties. These are findings of an annual survey, “Taking the Pulse® U.S. v11.0,” by Manhattan Research, a pharmaceutical and healthcare market research company. The survey included 2,041 practicing physicians in the United States.
