Intel-GE Launches Care Innovations Guide Remote Patient Monitoring System

On May 2, 2011, Intel-GE Care Innovations announced that its Care Innovations Guide remote patient monitoring software, device, and service received market launch clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in March. The software can run a variety of off-the-shelf communication and vital sign monitoring devices (both wired and wireless) to create a highly customized, two-way virtual care coordination system.
