CMS Seeks Health Care Innovation Grant Proposals To ‘Rapidly Reduce’ Medicare & Medicaid Spending
On June 14, 2013, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) began accepting applications for the second round of Health Care Innovation Awards; up to $1 billion is available for projects with a high likelihood of rapidly reducing Medicare, Medicaid, and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) spending. Funds will go to applicants that demonstrate that they can improve quality of care and deliver sustainable net savings to CMS within three years.
