42% Of Households With Internet Access Would Use Independent Living Monitoring Services
A survey of consumers with broadband Internet access found that independent living monitoring services and technologies appealed to 42% of the consumers surveyed and vital sign monitoring appealed to 37% of the consumers surveys. Half of people currently caring for a family member found independent living monitoring appealing, as did one-third of people who anticipate being a caregiver within five years. About 42% of current caregivers and 32% of upcoming caregivers found remote vital sign monitoring services appealing.
