Partners HealthCare Launches Platform Allowing Consumers To Transmit Home Health Monitoring Data To EHR
On June 20, 2013, the Center for Connected Health, a division of Partners HealthCare in Boston, launched a personal health technology platform that allows consumers to collect and electronically transmit their home vital sign monitoring data directly to their Partners HealthCare electronic medical record (EMR). Vital signs and other patient data collected at home are securely transmitted via computer, smartphone, or tablet to the Center's remote monitoring database which is linked to the Partners HealthCare EMR.
