Share HealthChoices, Pennsylvania’s Medicaid physical health managed care program, has saved the state up to $5.9 billion since 2000 according to an analysis by the state’s Medicaid managed care organizations (MCO). The savings estimate is in comparison to what the state would have spent for fee-for-service (FFS) Medicaid services.
