United Healthcare Cutting National Medicare Advantage Physician Network By 10%
On October 2, 2013, United Healthcare notified a number of physicians in its Medicare Advantage plan networks in Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, New Jersey, and Rhode Island that it was terminating contracts for the 2014 plan year. By the end of 2014, United Healthcare anticipates that its national Medicare Advantage network will be 10% to 15% smaller.
