San Antonio Baptist Clinic Launches Membership-Based Primary Care Program For Uninsured

In October 2012, a Baptist Health System affiliate, Faith Family Clinic in San Antonio, Texas announced it had launched MemberCare, a membership-based health care program that provides primary care for uninsured workers and their families. The program is not technically health insurance, but does meet the requirement of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA) that individuals purchase health care coverage starting January 1, 2014.
