New Performance-Based Payment System For Medicare Advantage To Be Fully Implemented By 2017

The federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is in the early stages of implementing a new performance-based payment system for Medicare Advantage plans as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA). The new system will be fully implemented by 2017.
