40% Of U.S. Adult Population Uses Mobile Health Technology
During the third quarter of 2013, an estimated 95 million adults, or 40% of the 240 million adult population in the United States, reported using mobile health technologies. This is a 27% increase since 2012, when an estimated 75 million adults used mobile health technologies. Mobile health technology in this context is defined as the use of a mobile device to access health information.
