Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Ranks #1 Private Health Insurance Plan; Non-Profit Health Plans Dominate Top 20

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, a non-profit health maintenance organization, ranked as the number one on the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) “Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2011-2012” list for private health plans. Harvard Pilgrim offers services primarily in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. Among the other plans on the list, non-profit health plans received the top quality of care rankings.
