About one-fifth (21%) of smartphone owners diagnosed with one or more chronic health conditions use a software application on their smartphone to track their health. About 19% of all smartphone owners have at least one health-related application installed on the device. About 29% of smartphone owners who experienced a significant health change during the past 12 months have a health-related application on the phone.
