January 12, 2004 New Jersey Launches Pilot Project "Real Life Choices" Looking to reduce New Jersey's long waiting list for community housing for the disabled, New Jersey's Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) has launched a state-managed program to offer families home assistance, state Human Services Commissioner Gwendolyn Harris announced on December 15, 2003. The DDD next month will select 100 families from Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Somerset and Union counties from the group home waiting list, which has swelled to about 7,000 statewide.
