January 29, 2007 Almost Family Acquires BayCare HomeCares Home Health Agency in Jacksonville, Florida On January 16, 2007, Almost Family, Inc. said it had acquired the assets and business operations of BayCare HomeCares home health agency in Jacksonville, Florida. The acquisition increased Almost Familys market reach in Florida; it now covers the eastern coast from the Georgia border to the southern border of Broward County. The acquired agency generated $2.5 million in 2006, but specific terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
