February 19, 2001 Teen Commits Suicide; Mother Sues Psychiatrists, Hospitals and Health Plan The mother of a Saddle Brook, New Jersey, teenager who committed suicide in January 2000, 18 days after her discharge from a hospital, has sued the health insurer, hospitals, outpatient programs and psychiatrists who treated her daughter. The lawsuit was filed on February 6, 2001 by Francine Sohlman in the Superior Court in Bergen County, New Jersey.
