April 4, 2005 Georgia Community Service Boards Found to Maintain Poor Records of $500 Million in State Funding An audit released March 9, 2005, found that the Georgia Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Addictive Diseases' community service boards maintain poor records of how $500 million in annual funds are allocated for programs. The audit also found that the state's Department of Human Resources (DHR), which provides oversight for the boards, does not monitor the financial condition of the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Addictive Diseases.
