April 26, 2004 68% of Providers in Compliance with HIPAA Privacy Regulations Sixty-eight percent of health providers believe their facilities are between 85% to 99% compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy rule; 23% think they are at full compliance and only 8% report being no more than halfway compliant.
