June 11, 2001 Ziegler Establishes LTC Fund Ziegler Healthcare Capital LLC announced in March 2001 that it has established a fund that will invest in assisted living, skilled nursing, and dementia care companies. The Ziegler Healthcare Fund I, LP was established to address the severe shortage of capital in long-term care. Facilities can use the funds for purposes such as financing acquisitions, working capital, replacement and/or refurbishment, expansion, and bridged leverage to HUD.
