Truman Medical Center Awarded Federal Prisons Contract For Drug Abuse Treatment

On January 7, 2015, the federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) announced it had awarded Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health a $1.3 million contract to provide transitional drug abuse and mental health treatment (TDAT) services in Kansas City, Missouri. The initial contract period runs from August 1, 2014 through July 31, 2015, followed by four one-year renewal options through May 31, 2019. The contract is structured as a firm, fixed price contract. Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health will serve 65 offenders annually, with 45 receiving addiction treatment services and 20 receiving mental health services.
