Independent Expert Cites Significant Improvements At Nebraska Beatrice State Developmental Center
In December 2014, the independent expert monitoring Nebraska’s Beatrice State Developmental Center (BSDC) reported that the state Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) had improved the level of care at the facility and in the entire system beyond the basic requirements of a 2007 settlement agreement with the federal Department of Justice (DOJ).
